-As election approaches, Kissinger replaces ideology with realpolitik to speed along discussions in Paris

-The Paris Accords fall and Saigon becomes Ho Chi Minh when the communists reunify Vietnam

 

Nixon Visits China: Opens new era of improved relations with China

Nixon Visits USSR: Pulls China card and gets USSR to help convince North Vietnam and Vietcong to negotiate.
