I told you that 1968 was a huge turning point in American history. That’s because everything comes to a head here, especially in American society, when all of a sudden, people are protesting left and right. There is an entire generation of young people who are dissatisfied with the way society treats them, and this attitude carries well into the seventies:

You should be very aware of this turning point in time. There is a very high chance that you will be asked about this on your essays.
