We live in such a racially segregated country. We can be profiled at a moment’s notice, stopped, frisked (if you’re black) or helped (if you’re white). Our racial and gender profiling is a double edged sword, where if you’re black, you’re a criminal, if you’re Asian, you’re impotent and effete, if you’re male, you can’t be a good stay-at-home parent, and if you’re female, you must be innocent and helpless.
This is the society that we live in. No one is safe.
